Reissues Roberto Mangabeira Unger's Roberto Unger's landmark three-volume work, Politics: A Work in Constructive Social Theory, was reissued by Verso Press in late 2004 in three handsome paperback volumes. First published in 1987, Politics was immediately hailed as a momentous achievement, and it quickly became the subject of essays by distinguished philosophers, legal scholars, and political scientists, including Richard Rorty, Perry Anderson, Cornel West, Cass Sunstein, Drucilla Cornell, Lawrence Lessig, Geoffrey Hawthorn, and others. (Many of these essays first appeared in a symposium in the Northwestern Law Review, reprinted here on the Roberto Unger Websource.) For more information, see the Verso Books Website.
